Armitage Could Not Connect to Database

Help,armitage not connecting to database in kali

I dont know whats going on but cant run armitage in kali, first it was showing error about not connecting to database (as i updated my metasploit).
so i changed the database.yml file with the one in my backtrack iso(as i dont have kali iso would need to download) but now it get stuck in middle while loading.
can anyone upload the kali default database.yml file or atleast tell me any link.

Thanks i'll keep in mind about port numbers.
but i've checked that and it do runs but get stuck in the middle and dont load for a long time.
Let me tell you what i did and how the problem started:
I fully installed the kali.iso on a usb drive. i logged in and run "msfconsole". The metasploit console opened but didn't connect to database. And surprising thing was that when i moved to directory "opt/metasploit/apps/pro/ui/config" there was no database.yml file by default, i only found "database.yml.example", so somehow i mannualy made a database.yml file. Then on typing db_status it said something like "postgresql selected, no connection". so i mannualy started service postgresql, then service metasploit, stoped metasploit. Then on again running "msfconsole" it worked then i did "db_rebuild_cache" and it created a username and password in the database.yml, anyways after that metasploit was running fine but the real problem got with armitage and as far as i think the problem is with the password in the database.yml file.
As in the file the password is in a hash form or encrypted and in the armitage window we need to enter the word for that password and that i dont know and also dont know what hashing algorithm is used to generate that password hash.
As an example you can see the hash(hidden under red lines) in the database file in the link:http://postimg.org/image/6z1cvdg6b/full/
Can any one tell how to get that password or any other solution.Thanks

are not quite prepared to give you a proper solution !!
Your problem may be "" bound "" to database.yml, upgrade Metasploit in kali upgrading via reposistory !!
creating a "new"postgreql-database PERHAPS solve (as was done in BT5 for mysql) "" status in msfconsole "" ...but armitage do not work !! ????(try to reinstall)???
for my little experience:
make a CLEAN install !!! or wait other expert-members to reply

Also i've tried to reinstall armitage several times but no success.
But the idea of creating a whole new database is good and might work, can you point me any tuts or walkthroughs .thanks

B)i made a workaround & my tests worked-fine
FIRST part:
-uninstall && REinstall CORRECTLY matasploit/armitage & some dipendencies in kali 1.1.0a
& automatic-default-script RECREATE a new database.yml(worked in msf &armitage)
SECOND part around 7 minute:
-create a new database(db) in postgresql && ""MODIFICATION-OLD"" && CONNECTED-IT to msf && armitage
